Administrator/CEO - Cando, ND

Towner County Medical Center (TCMC) in Cando, North Dakota is currently searching for an experienced individual for the position of Administrator/CEO. TCMC is a critical access facility designated as a level V trauma center. TCMC operates a rural health clinic, a medical clinic in Devils Lake, a senior independent living center, basic residential care center, and a skilled nursing facility. 

TCMC is a community-owned and operated facility. The Administrator/CEO reports to an Operating Board that is elected from members of the TCMC service area.

The ideal candidate will be a proven, results-driven professional who possesses the interpersonal skills necessary to cultivate strong teams and facilitate effective relationships with Board members and the medical staff, across a variety of medical settings.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, finance, or clinical specialty. Masters degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or clinical specialty is preferred. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may substitute for education requirements.

Experience: Five years experience in healthcare administration/management with experience in facility operations management, personnel management, and/or finance. An ideal candidate will have five years experience at Administrator level.

Licensure: Must have or be eligible for ND Nursing Home Administrator’s license.

Skills: Leadership skills, tact, diplomacy, flexibility, and excellent verbal/written skills are essential.
